How does a heat pump:
Heat pump works by removing heat from the air, land and water that transforms to a higher level. Inside pump is a closed circuit refrigerant which in them low temperature absorbs thermal energy from their surroundings by boiling on walls and changes state from liquid to gas. Resulting steam is compressed and compressor power transmitted on walls of circuit. Refrigerated returns to primary and cycle are repeated.
Natural sources of heat for heat pump
When choosing a natural source for heat pump especially considering its availability.
Air
Outdoor unit air from which heat energy is taken back and the air is expelled to outside.
- Heat pump air / water can be installed anywhere, regardless of the size of the land
- Quick and easy installation
- Higher cost in a heat pump earth / water, water / water
- Shorter life
- Poor performance at low ambient temperatures
- It not recommended for use in mountain areas and in areas with high humidity
Water
Heat pump extracts heat from water. Heat from groundwater is obtained so that water is pumped from wells into primary heat exchanger and a heat pump. In it water is cooled and returned to well.
It must be distant and positioned so that groundwater flow went from well to pump well. So there is no loss of water. Between two wells water is heated again.
- High factor
- Short payback time
- Lower costs
- It is necessary to ensure a sufficient supply (well)
- Requirements on chemical composition (water)
Earth
Earthmoving machines circulates ecological mixture of glycol and water that is passing earthmoving machines heats and goes into heat pump, which removed it from heat. This cycle is repeated continuously. Drawing power from earth can be two ways.
Heat pump extracts heat from deep below surface of the garden. In Hole / Well is placed a plastic case filled with a mixture that transfers heat between earth and heat pump. Hole / Well can be done anywhere with minimum space requirements. If desired it carried out by one or more bores with a depth of 50-150 m. Hole / Well can be done anywhere with minimum space requirements.
- High efficiency
- There is no need for groundwater
- Higher costs
- Notification obligation
- Natural collector
Heat pump extracts heat from garden area. Surface area of garden in deep (1.5 m) are deposited plastic tube impregnated with a harmless mixture of water and glycol. This solution is suitable for smaller installations (Villas) If you choose as a heat source for your heat pump ground, get a stable heat source. On other hand, building a ground heat exchanger takes up a relatively large part of land.
- Compared to water / water is natural collector almost useless
- There is no need water
- Lowest cost of heat
- Requirement for area
